This is DAY THIRTY EIGHT of the daily devotional.

I am releasing a 50 day daily devotional about the end-times as revealed in Scripture. Along with the text, I will be providing a video where I cover the text of the day, and Hive account@verbal-d will be providing an audio version of it. That way, whether you want to read, watch, or listen, you'll be able to enjoy this study as you wish.

The plan is to release this devotional over the next 50 consecutive days, but life may "get in the way." We will do our best, but please be patient with me if I fall behind.

DAY 38 - TWO WITNESSES : Part 3

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark.” (Genesis 7:11-13)

“They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.” (Luke 17:27)

Two witnesses testify that the same day Noah entered into the ark the flood came.

“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.” (Luke 17:26)

“Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.” (Luke 17:30)

Two witnesses confirm that as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be when Jesus returns.

“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-2).

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. But of the times and seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-5:2)

Two witnesses show how the rapture and the “Day of the Lord” go hand in hand.

“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” (1 Thessalonians 5:2)

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night:” (2 Peter 3:10a)

Two witnesses testify that the “day of the Lord” will come “as a thief in the night”.

Point #1: Two witnesses state that the day Noah entered into the ark the flood came.

Point #2: Two witnesses testify that as it was in Noah’s day when the righteous were delivered the same day that the wicked were destroyed, so shall it be when Jesus comes again.

Point #3: Two witnesses show that the coming of Jesus and the “Day of the Lord” go hand in hand.

Point #4: Two witnesses reveal that the “day of the Lord” will come “as a thief in the night”.

If anyone is really interested, I did post the entire volume through an alt account over a year ago. I did so as an experiment to see how hard it would be for a new user to get noticed on steemit, so I didn't let anyone know that I was doing it. You can click here to a post that has links to the entire 50 days of this devotional if you really want to read ahead. That information has always been available there since I first posted it. It is not the purpose of this series to just copy all of my previous work, but instead to transform it into some new outlets by releasing it in an audio and video format, to broaden the reach that this work has.

Again, though I will certainly never claim to know it all, I do believe that many are being lead astray by some popular beliefs. I hope that this project will be able to help many others understand the end-times more accurately. Thanks!
