Monasterio de La Encarnación, Ávila, Spain, 05/13/2019
At the first plan of European trip, I decided to visit Toledo, Segovia, Ávila, Manresa, and mountain of Montserrato in Spain as I looked for places related to 15-16C Catholic spiritualists, st. Ignatius, st. Teresa, and st. John of the Cross. Ávila after visiting place of Toledo and Segovia, is the hometown of Saint Teresa. I wanted to step around the the front yard of the Monasterio de La Encarnación(Monastery of Incarnation), which was designed based on her work, The Interior Castle. Ávila is a small town, so it doesn't take too much time to look around. As soon as I arrived from Segovia, I made a prior visit of the monastery of Incarnation as a quick view. It was located outside the castle of Ávila and face the town in the middle of near place like the guardian of the village. I also took pictures of beautiful impression under the effect of the moon light on the way back to the hostel.
