Questions about God have remained in our minds for centuries. What is God? Do you exist? Why do we need God? Do religions believe in the same God? Why are there religious wars? Such questions have been asked by individuals as well as by individuals at various stages of their lives. God's myths create their own history. Human society has transformed hunter-gatherers into farmers through the establishment of agriculture. The goddess God was replaced by the masculine god and the violence was put in the name of religion. Instead of seeking a God who is in bondage to violence and survival, today we should seek the spiritual God.
"SPIRITUALLY comes morality and do what is right. Spiritual people are not inferior to God but praise God to all us."
Religions and prophets have been preaching about God for centuries, and millions of people have come to believe in it. The revolution of science and technology in this century has forced many of us to reexamine the teachings and beliefs found in our religious traditions. Should in the creation or in evolution? Should we believe in heaven and His court of justice as we look up at the sky or should in space, planets, and galaxies there? I hope that this writing will provide new insights into the mysteries of God - and leave us smart, peaceful, and enlightened. Instead of emphasizing the conflict between religion and science and pointing to the consensus of both, we need to unravel the threads in both and see how one develops the other.
The mind of God has a practical value, to the new generation of science and technology and to the people of the 21st century, only if we are ready to reach that goal in a unique way. A scientist may find it hard to believe that an old man or wise woman sitting in the sky watching over everything; because "God does not control our actions." But the same scientist cannot deny the incredible awareness and wisdom that exists in life, in nature, and in us. It becomes a scientist that makes us spiritual and believing.
God is no longer the theory of the mysteries of many religions. In the new generation of the 21st century, we should be able to hear. This is an important part of being a religious person today. To meet with God, to have a vision, to be with God 24 hours a day; that's what it means to be religious. There is no God in the church or the churches or the temple or the gurdwara that appears every Sunday. God also does not dwell in the heavens to see our deeds. God is in us, God is in the church. "If we cannot see God in everything, then we cannot see God." We need scriptures that can teach us that all people can meet God while they are alive by seeing the Godhead within. We want to be one with God and see for ourselves.
We need scriptures, where the understanding of God teaches the union of the soul (Atma) with the higher soul / God (Paramatma) and salvation (Jeewan Muktee). With such knowledge, there is no heaven/hell for each. All who are on earth; and not various places such as patal (netherworlds) and agas (sky) that have been misrepresented as places by many theologians.
We need texts like Gugu Granth Sahib in which Sikh Gurus and other donors have described God as a Person, Omnipotent, Transcendental (Nirgun), Immanent (Sargun), creator, loving, kind, compassionate, caring, and various other ways.
We, humans, are the only species in the realm of animals blessed with the capacity for analysis and intelligence. We have only the nervous system that knows the miracle of God, the soul, rebirth, hell, and heaven. Many of us question the existence of a God we know about religion and history! Is God a force for good in our lives?
