Instead of viewing our minds and our reality as internal and external, I believe it's more accurate and helpful to view it as DIMENSIONAL.
Here's what I mean by dimensional:
- The realm of thought is a dimension, and we often refer to it as "internal."
- Physical reality is a dimension, and we often refer to it as "external."
These dimensions aren't entirely separate. They're intimately connected and blend into each other.
The body (including the brain and perceptual filters) is a bridge that allows us to experience physical reality. It's a feedback vehicle; an interface system.
Another bridge between dimensions is art. Writing, for example, is a portal between the ethereal thought realm and physical reality. The act of writing is literally the act of solidifying a thought form.
And remember, the fundamental state of physical reality is frequency/vibration. It's an ocean of frequency, where things only appear separate when decoded by our perceptual filters. So there is no rigid boundary between our bodies and the rest of reality. All of this is permeated by thought.
And beyond thought is Stillness, The Void, Pure Potentiality, Pure Consciousness...etc. But that's another rabbit hole ;)
