The BergZendo on the Hohe Wand (High Wall) is a place of spirituality far away from everyday life. It is nestled in a mountain-top nature park just an hour's drive from Vienna, Austria. The the kaleidoscope of changing weather coupled with the revolving seasons makes it easy to feel connected to the elements. The wide view and the open sky expand the heart and inspire the spirit.
The Berg Zendo is the new practice-heart of Bodhidharma Zendo Vienna (www.bodhidharmazendo.net), the largest and oldest Zen meditation group in Vienna. This place of peace, harmony, and strength supports each individual in their intellectual and personal development, and is available to host both individuals and groups for private retreats or seminars. We have just finished our Phase I renovations and are open for visitors, but we are still in great need of financial support in order to payback our loan and realize the full potential for this amazing place.
