The Second Season as an 'Open' Fund has Wrapped up
and it was, overall, very successful.
Made some moves in the card market
Increased holdings in several LPs
Brought in a couple of more investors
Card Holdings/Rentals
We have almost finished selling off the GF cards. Putting most of the proceeds into LPs and other 'liquid' holdings- in order to gain off them while looking for more deals in the market.
We purchased lots of 'targeted' cards- not only getting them at great prices but getting enough of them to level them up to 'ideal' rental levels.
In addition, because of changes in the rental market as well as some research we conducted on the state of the game- we purchased many, many more cards to complete leveling several of our Chaos Legion cards to their ideal levels.
All together, these moves enabled us to increase Rental Income by 25% over last season. We plan to purchase a few hundred addition packs of CL during this season, bringing our total purchased to a level where we will be guaranteed 3 of each of the rest of the AD cards from CL.
This will probably not have much of an effect on Rental Income, this season. It will provide us with more cards to sell and build off of to increase our inventory of 'premium' cards from the CL expansion and will help assure us of continuing and growing rental income in the seasons to come.
Yield Farming
I only track the accumulation of 3 tokens we get from our Yield Garden- SPS, DEC, and BXT. We're starting to bring enough BEE that I may start tracking it in the future but not this season.
SPS- we pulled in 3,710 SPS over the course of the season. Mostly from the SPS AD and not Yield Farming but since most of our SPS AD points come from our positions in the SPS:DEC and HIVE:DEC LPs, I include it here.
At current conversion rates- 3710 SPS is worth 155,800 DEC
DEC- Between Monster Market and LPs, we received a little over 95,500 DEC over the course of the season
BXT- We only receive these tokens from LP Rewards and we only accumulated 2 more of them. Since they are worth $8.4/ea though, I include them in here as that ends up being ~5K DEC for the season.
All of the proceeds have been plowed back into the garden and we continue to get increasing returns on all of our positions- mostly because of growing Bonuses but also from the continual reinvestment.
Our LP positions have grown to just over $9,000 (with about 1/2 of that being in the HIVE:DEC pool)
New Investors and HODLers Increasing Holdings
We have 2 new investors in the Token/Fund:
and
wook picked up 15 Tokens while Bob got 5. In addition,
more than doubled his holdings to 4 total ASII tokens. Of course,
continues to hold the top spot on the richlist at 275 ASII tokens to his name.
Payout and Distribution
Given our income of just over 300K DEC for the season and the current Token supply of 20K- each token payed out 15 DEC to their HODLer.
| HODLER | Tokens | Payout |
|---|---|---|
| cardshine | 275 | 4,125 DEC |
| woook | 15 | 225 |
| bobthebuilder2 | 5 | 75 |
| pieternijmeijer | 4 | 60 |
This, of course, represents ~125% APR for the tokens.
Continuing Phase I
There are still a very limited amount of tokens available on Hive-Engine as the account is worth ~$42,000 while there's only 20K tokens issued against it.
We will be adding to the account and re-investing a considerable amount of the last 2 season's profits into purchasing some additional packs and leveling them up to good renting positions.
We are still looking for good investment opportunities in cards, through exchanging ASII tokens for rentable assets.
