I agree on this one. I am a player of splinterlands since August 2021 and played into champ in January 2022 and stayed there because I enjoy the game more playing there. As for me I don't owned cards cause I only rent to play. I rent cards that are useful in my own way and it depends on my performance in rank if I can take back the expense that I got from renting and have a little profit for myself. As of now, as champion/diamond been flooded by bots and as their getting stronger overtime, my performance is getting bad and especially having a limited game because of the energy system, every win counts and if I lose most of that game. I can't take back the expense of renting. So my other option would be tournaments. I don't know if they are botting or real player who used battle helper, but either way I'm also having a hard time going in to round 2 due to the fact that I'm losing quite a lot. So basically its getting harder and harder for me and others who just rent cards also to stay competitive in this situation. But I do really hope that the passing proposal that they will ban bots in modern be implemented.
