I agree 100% Starting out is extremely slow and it is a good way to accumulate more cards. There are lots of good things about the game and I'm excited about NFT games in general giving the incentive to play more. At the same time, this is kind of a kick in the teeth to the players... There are a few adjustments that could have been implemented and this move feels like the laziest and most profitable option, with little concern for the negative impact to growing a player base. 1 -CHANCE- per day at -MAYBE- getting a card unless you spend $5+ PER DAY is really going to kill growth for new players. This is only going to help the well established players maintain the control over the arenas and the card market. The only counter is to PAY MORE, regardless of the route you go... pay more for the quest potion or pay more for cards in the market...
Cash grabs kill games.. Sure people will keep playing, and keep paying... but it will stunt the growth all around and thats all there is to it
