Making the switch from the Wild Leagues to the Modern Leagues has been challenging but I'm finding it a little easier thanks to the Gladiator cards. Thanks to their Bloodlust ability, when they get going, they can be very hard to stop.
My two go-to cards are Katrelba Gobson and Quora Townsend. Both of which are Earth Splinter cards so I'm definitely playing more Earth decks in battle in Modern. Very different strategy from using Alric Stormbringer and his magic boost back in Wild.
Here's a recent battle where Katrelba decimated my opponent. I was initially worried by my opponent's Thorns but turns out, I had nothing to worry about.
In just round 1, I had gotten Katrelba's attack to 4 thanks to killing off two opponents. Not to mention the 5 speed meant that she would attack first the next round.

Gladiator Cards
For all Wild players hesitant to make the switch to Modern, using your Gladiator cards might be a bridging solution to improve your win rate. At least in Bronze. It is definitely more challenging than Wild for sure but i'll try with some rented cards and see if that improves things.
