It’s still Friday in my timezone and this very Friday got me locked in at home. Been working all day even though I was able to squeeze out time to play the Splinterlands game again today. Due to the fact that I’m trying to meet up my target of hitting 5k GLINT this season atleast the progress looks promising and my obstacle tonight is power supply but since tomorrow is Saturday, I will have the time to hit my target before the season comes to an end tomorrow. My current amount of GLINT earned this season is 4425 and my total GLINT amount is now 7005. It’s only a few hours left before the end of the season. Right now I’m not feeling sleepy yet so if the light is restored then more wins are probably gonna come before the break of dawn. While surfing the internet today I noticed an announcement by the Davemccoy of the Splinterlands team stating that the SUMMER FUN Gift boxes are arriving on Splinterlands and the event will be live on June 2nd. According to what I saw, there will be Exclusive Beach Bum made available with Tidebreaker skins, Gifts boxes that are transferable, Energy Bombs, Glints, Spellbook tokens. 1 of 1 Black Foil Arcane Archmage Yabainus. He also stated that players who might have violated the Terms of service in the ETN Electro Fox purchases by having 11 per player, 11 per account and 11 per household should report themselves now before the team gets to handle the violation on their own. So according to the team, there are giving those who broke the rules a chance. The team member also mentioned that they are delivering a set of products to be able to generate revenue for the DAO or attimes returning value to the community. Dave McCoy also added that proposals were made by the team in times past to price products that were upcoming due to the fact that the team was requesting funding as at that time. He said that community members are very welcome to drop their feedback but the team's priority is to deliver products that both players and the community are going to benefit from and if the DAO wishes to change any part of what the team brings, a DAO vote can then take place and any vote which passes is what the team honours.
