Still on my journey up the MODERN league ladder, I got to 400 points already and ranked up to the BRONZE II league. My aim now is to get to the BRONZE I. So I was able to claim a BRONZE II loot after ranking up and got three prizes in the LOOT. The first item was a RARE SCROLL, while the second item was 1 ALCHEMY POTION CHARGE and the last item was a card.
This is actually the first time I will be owning this very card as I’ve never even set my eyes on it before. It is a RANGED Attack Card called the OSHANNUS UNMADE. It is capable of reducing an enemy’s life by 2. The card has a MANA of 6 and belongs to the DJINN bloodline. It has a health stat of 4 and a speed stat of 3. The card is a CONCLAVE ARCANA card as you can see from the symbol in the down left corner of the card with the green colour.
I’m getting used to the MODERN league and it is actually interesting as the league is broadening my knowledge on the Splinterlands game and exposing me to new cards in the process. I haven’t gotten the time to get on the FRONTIER league yet but will do so when I settle down later in the day. So I also came across an update in the Hive-engine discord server and decided to share it on here for those who might not be in the server. Take a look at the announcement below guys.
About three hours ago, Hive account@aggroed a hive-engine developer shared an announcement in the hive-engine discord server informing hivers that the hive-engine exchange has been hacked. He mentioned that it happened around 5am EST and that systems of EVM bridges were compromised. He added that the BNB and SOLANA bridges were being affected and that it goes across multiple server systems and projects operated by various devs.
He stated that the damage done to the ecosystem includes 85 ETH, 58 BNB , 257 Solana and 33k POL, other underlying tokens like USDT, BUSD and GIFU were stolen too. He later added that the Eth/Hive bridge with the DAO looks ok. Community members are asked not to withdraw or deposit tokens for now as keys to the HBD account have been changed and we need to wait a few days for the service to be restored. He added that funds are safe and it is wise to take caution.
According to him, the root cause of the hack was a breach of a key storage backup through a malicious hack that exposed the private keys for a subsection of hive-engine related custodial accounts and promised to work with law enforcements to try tracking down the funds which have been stolen.
