Splinterlands Card Giveaway
Each week I host a giveaway for one of the original Reward Edition Splinterlands cards. Most of these cards have been out-of-print for almost two years, so new players can only get them in the market, and that can be pretty expensive. These giveaways are a way to help players build their deck for free.

This Week's Giveaway
For this week's Blast From The Past Giveaway, I'm giving away a Level 1 Creeping Ooze card.
The Creeping Ooze was the first card to cost only 1 Mana. Never considered a "powerful" card, it has non the less earned a good reputation as a must have card in the 3 years since it's release. In addition to slowing your opponents monsters down, it's low Mana cost allows it to fit in almost any lineup, adding a buffer to absorb damage and keep you more powerful monster safe from one or more attacks.
With an influx of new players, demand for Creeping Ooze cards continues to be high. Even with the recent price correction on Splinterlands cards, the cheapest Level 1 Creeping Ooze card is still a very respectable $0.91 on the Splinterlands market. And, with the Wild and Modern format battles starting soon, this one card can enable you to compete in Wild format with your Modern deck without spending a lot of money on Alpha and Beta cards.
If you are just starting out and haven't been able to add a Creeping Ooze card to your deck or just need another one to level yours up, then you should get in on this giveaway. This card will be sent to one lucky winner when this contest closes at post payout time.
If this Creeping Ooze card doesn't fit in with your master plan for Splinterlands domination, or if you lack the skill and wisdom necessary to achieve victory with it, you can always rent it to someone else or try to sell it in the market.
