Introduction
Hello! I am idigjapanesechix, an avid gamer. First, I want to greet everyone with a Happy New year. For a few months already, I started my journey in the Hive ecosystem. Around August this year, I played Splinterlands, and around November when I started playing Rising Star. And now, I want to look back at what I had achieved in both of these games.
Splinterlands
When I started playing Splinterlands back in August, I initially bought the spellbook and a few quest potions. Initially, I achieved silver 3 when the season ended. Opening my first EOS chests was truly euphoric. Sadly, I was not able to earn many of the previous reward cards such as the Axe master, which was a game-changer back in my league.
At the end of the month, I bought myself $100 USD worth of DEC, which is equivalent to 11000 DEC back in that time. I was accumulating around more than 1 SPS back then. Then the BTC market crash came, and came with it is the price of SPS and DEC. I felt sad a bit since I am at a loss.
Then came the CHAOS legion pack announcement. The price went really high and I was able to see the USD worth of my DEC double. I was very happy during this time until the bear market came. SPS and DEC didn't increase anymore and it eventually crashed. I made a choice to either hold my DEC for the SPS airdrop or to liquidate it into USDT so that I have a backup plan when the general sale comes. My choice was the latter and I was able to turn my $100 worth of DEC to $200. And not only that, but I also had many reward cards which costs a total of $250 back then. So with this, I was happy.
Seeing the price of DEC and SPS crashing and crashing every now and then, I realize that I had made an important choice. The current price of DEC was too low which was lower compared to the price that I entered around August (refer to the image below). With this, I am thankful that I took some profits.

I am still playing Splinterlands and I enjoy it so far. Gonna continue to see what's ahead of us!
Rising Star
With the money that I had earned from Splinterlands, I began researching other games within the Hive ecosystem, and this is where I found out about Rising Star. I was amused by the logic of the game and its income potential, and I can generate my investment back in approximately two to three months. With this, I decided to invest 42 HIVE to buy packs and as well as other instruments.
Currently, the image below shows the stats that I currently have.

As you can see, my stats are mediocre. I can obtain 10,000 STARBITS every 2-3 days and I always convert my STARBITS to Hive whenever I withdraw 10,000 STARBITS. This approximately equals 1+ Hive. This is what they call dollar-cost averaging. If you want to know more about it, you can read it here.
I already earned around 3-5 Hive through playing the game and clicking a few times a day.
Other Investments
Lastly, I bought 500 EGOV tokens from . Not financial advice but I decided to get in early as I see great potential in the game. I already got 5 GENONE tokens that can be used to mint some characters. Let's see what the future holds!
2022 Goals
My first goal is to accumulate enough Hive power. Currently, I only have around 2 HP and I plan to make this to 1000 by the end of the year. As many know, resource credits easily get eaten up when transacting in the Hive, which is why I plan to increase this number more so that I can interact within the Hive more.
My second goal is to get my Splinterlands collection power to 100k so that I can stay at gold. My current power is at 12k. It's gonna be though, but I hope I can achieve it!
My third goal is to get the STARBITS millionaire card. This is a card issued by
for those people that hold 1 million STARBITS in their wallet or account. I hope I can accumulate this when I finish getting back my initial investment!
My last goal for next year is to post more in PEAKD more! I really enjoy writing about different kinds of stuff, even if it is related to programming or not as I can really express myself.
Thank you for reading guys. I hope we all have a wonderful year ahead of us!
