Hello everyone! As some of you know we were by a devastating and nasty typhoon on the southern part of the Philippines.
Sorry for the thumbnail I cannot use any editing apps since the connection is so slow.
I just wanted to show my gratitude on this post for all the help I have received from my community. The typhoon was the strongest and the worst I have ever experience in my existence. Our place is not really Typhoon prone, since we are located on the Central Part of the Philippines, called CEBU, but this one hit us, and it hit us hard, we weren't ready for it and truth be told, people have kind of underestimated it.
I was one of the victim but even then, whenever I saw other victims whose houses and everything lost, I still consider myself lucky.
I don't have much photos of everything that happened in our City, but I found one in Youtube, if you wanted to check it out you can check on this link. Or search this keyword in Youtube, "Bagyong Odette Leaves Destruction in Danao City Cebu: Aftermath, if you don't want to open links.
It is an 18 minute long video, that only shows a small portion of the damage that has been done on our City.
Please note that the Photo above is not mine and there is no copyright intended.
Now, why am I wanted to thank the community?
It is because of the people who have help me rebuild, and motivates me to kept going and be stronger in this hardest times of our lives.
I got lots of messages from people on the community who was worried or concerned about our safety. (Thank God we are safe).
Right after I got a network coverage, I try to respond to all of them especially , and right after our conversation she offered to write a donation drive for me. But I answered her, that if she wanted to do it I would suggest that we make it a donation drive for everyone, but she is adamant that I needed help too and need to take care of me first and said, that after I get help and finish rebuilding and fixing our house, I can give the excess amount to everyone in my area, and I am so thankful that she said that to me, which is definitely the right thing to do.
So she started the donation drive by posting in video in
blockchain, she set the goal to $1000, which is more or less enough to take care the damages on our house, she never expected that we will reach the goal, but I prayed that I hope we reach it, since it will be a big help not just to me but everyone in my community in the PH.
And what happened next was history, even before clove posted the post, I have received decent amount from friends, outside and inside , but as soon as
posted and help me reach a lot more people, the donations came flooding in, and in about a day or two we have already reached our goal! Yes, we reached $1000 in about a day or two, and I am so happy and grateful about it.
I wanted to give a huge shoutout to this people, and to the people that I might have missed. (I am sorry if I have missed you it is not intended)

I would also like to thank the #nosleepgang, #ImmortalGods Guild and all of the community, for all your well wishes!
In total I got around $1200, in crypto and fiat donation, which is I think more than enough, so I am now planning to give out relief goods to a 100 families in my place on New Year, it will be an early Birthday Gift for me, "Sharing is Caring" and it is the best gift we can give to ourselves, the fulfillment we can feel in sharing the blessings we received, so I am now using the excess amount from the donation drive that made and some on my personal fund to give out to the 100 chosen families in my area! I could have not done it without
and the communities behind it. So everyone! Thank you so much!
I will work even harder for this community and I will update you on my plan on giving out the relief good which I will address to community which have helped me a lot! Again this is my only way to show my gratitude and appreciation to everyone!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone
