Aimless is a great wildcard ruleset. This ability allow Scattershot applies to all cards. Scattershot will make ranged and magic cards directed toward random target. This is good for 2 (two) reason. First it overrides the effect of Taunt, protecting player from being lured into opponent battle plan. The second one, it allow arbitrary attack, which useful to strike into well-protected crucial card. Aimless could unexpectedly overturn the tide of the battle.
Pros & Cons

|---|---|
1. This ruleset could disrupt the battle plan and trap set out by opponent. Arrow and spell will fly into nowhere, including the deeply protected cards. | 1. This ruleset could easily undermined by having a full melee formation which rely on Opportunity and Sneak to attack. But its easy to predict a full melee formation and make a catastrophic debuff. |

Best Cards To Use
With Scattershot ability, there's a 4/6 chances that ranged or magic attack will hit the middle cards. This is the best position to target for attack with Blast ability. Therefor cards with Blast ability and high damage value will grant the optimum damage result.

The battle has a maximum 38 mana cap, with Aimless as the sole ruleset; while only Fire, Earth, Death, and Dragon Splinters are made available.
The battle turned into a full magic formation pit battle. Both formation boosted by +1 magic damage from Obsidian. My main strategy is to bring a evenly distributed health cards, with only Scavo Technomancer having the lowest health which I trade for its Blast. My frontline led by Lurking Puffer, a non-attack card with a huge 6 health. It followed by Centauri mage which stood with 9 health. To boost the Tanker even more, I took Regal Peryton on the 3rd row. Goblin Psychic and Uloth Dhampir shall be the artillery in the back row.
On the opposite side, my opponent bring a rather unconventional formation. It rely on 2 (two) Martyr card in between the main damage dealer. This formation could led to a life-and-death situation. It would be unfortunate if the Scattershot did not fall into the Fungus Flinger and Venari Marksrat. Mycelic Slipspawn is a rather useless, since the Taunt will be override, but still the 9 health is not easy to overcome.
My formation have an overall better initiatives. Regal Peryton and Centauri Mage strike into Goblin Psychic and Mycelic Slipspawn. My formation also sustain similar damage landed on Goblin Psychic and Centauri Mage. Then a fatal blow landed by Uloth Dhampir right into Fungus Flinger which turn for the worst when Scavo Technomancer land Blast into Goblin Psychic killing Fungus Flinger and activate the first Martyr. Things couldn't get any worse when my Goblin Psychic got rid off by my opponent Goblin Psychic. Mycelic Infantry end the first round by a direct hit into Lurking Puffer which trigger a Corrosive Ward for a little use.
The second round open with an exchange blow between Regal Peryton. Unfortunately Centauri Mage trigger the death trap when it launched a killing blow into Venari Marksrat. This call into the final Martyr which worsen the situation. With a 4 and 5 damage, Goblin Psychic and Mycelic Slipspawn really put a toll into my formation poise. The round again ended with Mycelic Infantry put a final blow into Lurking Puffer.
Round 3 become a full massacre when Regal Peryton, Uloth Dhampir, and Centauri Mage are taken down in sequence. Though Scavo Techmancer make a final attempt to hit Mycelic Infantry, the battle end for good when Mycelic Infantry drop down Scavo for good.
CONCLUSION
This battle have unpredictable outcome. The deathblow into both Martyr cards will be detrimental. If only they are left survived until the later round, my formation might have the chances. Unfortunately, my formation did blow away those cards which only booster my opponent remaining cards.
