Hello, fellow gamers!
Today we had an interesting fight versus and
on a gold league battlefield.
Rulesets:
- Holy protection - all monsters have the divine shield ability.
- Little league - only monsters and summoners that cost 4 mana or less can be used in a battle.
Available splinters
Water, Earth, Life, Dragon
Mana cap
13 mana
Thought process: I immediately knew that Ula will play an earth / dragon splinter. I assumed that he will be putting a failed summoner at a first place and add a Grenadier at the back for his oppress ability (deals double the damage for non-attack monsters) and blast. I made a decision to play a few monsters up front to absorb the damage and added a Selenia Sky to help my range monsters to burst his failed summoner.
There is a great synergy between the earth elemental and a swamp thing. By doing 7 damage per turn - it is difficult for an opponent to heal up quick enough.
Had another battle with the same rules and used the same strategy again. Worked out perfecly.
If you play in a gold league, a failed summoner is a great asset to have. It currently costs around $0.11 per bcx, making it $24.2 for a level 8 (common card cap for a gold league).
