If you haven't heard the news yet, are consumed with work, or are otherwise unaware of the latest in the splinterlands blockchain gaming metaverse, then read up on this article.
Especially if you're not used to using poison as part of your strategy.
And when you are done, make time for some wash, rinse, repeat... Some exercising. Because this bad-ass of a summoner is going to bring a world of hurt to those that don't know how to play him.
During the daily battles toward the Quest Rewards that are always so eagerly anticipated, I managed to slip in almost an entire team of poisonous monsters, just to see if I could emulate the effect of a poisonous summoner.
I believe it went very well.
Please take a recap, look through the poisonous battle and tell me, if you think poisonous attacks are anything you have found a way to endure.
For the battle in which I tested my poisonous abilities, I chose these three monsters:
Now, the poisonous battle itself was not a huge deal. But what was significant was the fact that poison hurts like hell if you can survive long enough for it to be applied.
My best card is obviously the good Doctor Blight as he not only will not be hit due to the camouflage ability but also that he gains life every round and so ends up quite the meat shield with two times two in damage every round.
In the end, I am happy to report not only that I won the poisonous battle, but more than that, I managed to poison every single one of the opposing monsters - except the very last one.
Obviously, it helped me tremendously to have two poisonous scavengers hiding in the back-line. It's not the last time I try out this line of attack.
I simply could not get a poisonous attack in on the Djinn Biljka until the very end, and by then there was no excitement left in the battle anyway.
"The Djinn" didn't have enough life to have time for a poisonous attack.
So sad.
If you have any comments, corrections, opinions - or just an equally great game to showcase for this Blast rule, please don't hesitate to comment down below.
I read all comments and love the strategy talks on specific rule-based battles.
