What Is Splinterlands (SPS)?
Splinterlands is a digital, collectible card game based on blockchain technology and inspired by games like Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone, where players build a collection of cards with different attributes and battle other players in skills-based matches. It is a game where players can buy, sell and trade their digital assets just as they would with physical trading cards games such as Magic the Gathering, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh!
I found this game when searching for cheap NFT games, because I envied my workmates making money out of Axie which is very expensive. So I tried this out and find it somehow promising and very fun.
After I registered in the game, it recommended to buy the spellbook so that I can earn DEC(the games' crypto token), it cost PHP500 in the Philippines and you have to use Credit Card, Paypal or Crypto. I don't have a credit card but I have a Paypal account and Gcash. What I did is connect my Gcash to Paypal so that I can purchase the Spellbook without the Creditcard. And so, I started to explore the game and started to have fun.
