Hey everyone, initially the raffle was meant to be hosted via livestream, but due to the flu we will not be able to host any livestreams at this stage.
Instead, we will choose winners in another interesting and verifiably fair way!
How the Winners Will be Chosen
We will post 7 comments under this post with the prize, for example "Max RF Pickle 1" or "Max GF Pickle 2". Each comment will have a hash and we will use the hash as the seed to generate the winner.
We will take the last 8 digits of the hexadecimal (base 16) hash then convert it to base 10. We will divide that number by the number of tickets remaining (total sold minus prizes distributed). The remainder is the number of the winning ticket! If it is perfectly divisible, then the last ticket is the winner (since you can't have a remainder when dividing by a divisor).
