BRAWL CLEAN SWEEP WITH SELENIA SKY (PLUS GIVEAWAY #8)

Alright, Here is the battle link about one of my brawl fights. I used Selenia Sky as the summoner and then utilized lots of ranged attack armies to maximize the advantage of additional ranged attack by +1. There will be more discussion regarding battle in every round at the next chapter, this link is provided for those who want to see the full match. Enjoy~

This monster has Shield ability which makes him perfect as a tank monster because shield will reduce damage received from melee or ranged attack. The attack damage gets halved (rounded up). Besides, His 6 health point (6) and additional 2 Armor will makes him survive for some rounds. His speed is only 1 so He is a slow monster but he will attack first in the reverse speed ruleset. His attack is 3 which is huge enough for monster who cost 7 mana.

The Main functions of this monster is to increase the speed of friendly monster. There are two impacts as a result; The first one is to increase the accuracy of friendly monster since they are gaining additional 1 attack. The second impact is to increase the miss opportunity when the enemies are attacking since their speed is become lower by -1. Another role of Creeping Ooze is to be a snipe attack absorber since this creature is put in second position.

This monster has very high speed (5) which makes her attack first rather than any monsters. The high speed also helps her to increase her accuracy and avoid other monster attack by miss chance. As a monster with 2 mana, her ranged attack is 1. Fair enough, but with the help of Selenia Sky, her attack becomes 2. Monsters who have the same attack as their mana is considered as having high attack. She has 2 health point which is fair also since she cost 2 mana only.

He is my favourite ranged attack fire monster since he only cost 2 mana and has flying ability which is increasing missed chance when attacked by other monsters. At Lv.1 he has 3 speed which is high enough and 1 ranged attack. As I summoned Selenia Sky, his attacked become 2. 2 Ranged attack for 2 mana is a kind of great deal. Since he has flying ability, he does not affected by earthquake ruleset, where other monsters with no flying ability will receive 2 damage in each turn, Imp bowman does not. He need to be protected from opponent monsters who have sneak and opportunity since he has 2 health point only.

Halfling Alchemist is always being an ace card in each brawl fight since his ability to halve all of the opponent's attack. This is the key tactic to defeat all of the gladius cards as we know that whenever gladius monsters killed the enemy, all of their stats (attack, speed, Armor and health) will increase by +1. In case of reverse speed rule set, their speed will decrease by 1. Back to the Alchemist, his speed is low, 1 only but when he hits the opponent, most likely the target will die soon since the monster is become weak (unless got cleansed).

The last monster of my team is Fire Demon. He is belong to alpha and beta edition and have 2 ranged attack while his mana cost is 4 so we can say that this monster has high attack as well. At level 1, his health point is 5, very abundant and that is the reason why I put him in the last position. The goal is to withstand the opponent's sneak monster as we can see in the battle, the opponent used sneak monster a lot. Fire Demon speed is 3 so it's a fair speed to attack first.

As we can see in the picture above, the opponent used full sneak monsters with Undead Badger, Uraeus and Silent Sha-Vi while the Selenia team was using four ranged attack monsters and Living Lava as the tank monster. At the first round we can see that the archer armies killed Cursed Windeku very soon since he is weak against high ranged attack as he has no shield ability and Armor. Undead badger was also being defeated this round. Thaddius Brood has no tank anymore while Selenia team is just losing Fire Demon because of sneak attack.

In this round the Thaddius's Creeping Ooze got killed so all of Selenia's monster speed back to normal. That makes huge difference in power between both team. As a result, Uraeus and Silent Sha-Vi were being killed as well. Uraeus failed to kill Halfling Alchemist since the Alchemist has 1 armour. In Thaddius side, the only monster left is chicken for the next round and It has no attack. So we can say that the game is over.

Did my strategy work? The answer is yes, my strategy works very well since we could take down all of the opponent's Thaddius Brood team very quickly for 3 rounds (2 rounds actually, as there's no challenge in round 3). The conclusion of this match is having a tank monster with shield ability is very important to withstand the opponent's melee and ranged attack.

In my opinion, this is a super strong legendary as well as dragon summoner which only cost 3 mana. So I think if you planned to invest some of your free money in Splinterlands, purchasing Selenia Sky in the bear market as of now is a great idea. You can win lots of match, whether ranked or tournaments to get many rewards and achieved ROI. Selenia sky is one of a few legendary who cost 3 mana only so she is worth to collect.
