CHALLENGE RULES

RULESET: BROKEN ARROWS
Description: Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.
Info: A high HP first monster with Void ability will deal with both melee and magic. Give your tank a back up with a tank heal support. Using Thorns or Magic Reflect is also very useful in this rule set. Defend against either Magic or Melee attacks by using the right summoner and then use monsters' abilities to deal with the other attack type.
The Battle
| Battle Rulesets | Description | Info |
|---|---|---|
| HEAVY HITTERS | All Monsters have the Knock Out ability. | Use a monster with Stun ability. There is a 50% chance that your monster with Stun will be able to stun enemy monsters, but if successful, all your monsters will deal double damage to that stunned opponent. |
| WEAK MAGIC | Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health. | Protect, Repair, Rust are useful in this ruleset. Beware the opponent could choose only Melee and Ranged monsters, so keep a tank with Shield. |
| REVERSE SPEED | Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks. | Try to pick monsters with 1 speed because they have the best chance of evading Melee and Ranged attacks. Beware of monsters with Enrage and Last Stand, these abilities increase speed when activated |
Lineup
It was a brawl game. I think this is my first battle challenge with a Brawl game. A slow game without rangers and weak magic. So it was a tricky one.
| Card | Strategy |
|---|---|
| Lux Vega - My default choice in most of the games. The speed boost is a disadvantage in this game, but the armor and health are very good, so it was worth the risk. | |
| Legionnaire Alvar - I like this card, unfortunately, Void Armor is not an advantage this time, but slow and strong tank for this game. | |
| Djinn Oshannus - The all-time favorite legendary reward card with very good speed and good magic damage. I use it very often as a second tank as in this game. The speed is a disadvantage in this time, but cause he is a magic monster it is not a very big problem. | |
| Deeplurker - Water is my favorite splinter and Deeplurker is one of the reasons. It has huge damage with poison, an ideal choice for 6 mana in most of the games, but the speed could cause some trouble. | |
| River Hellondale - Ideal support for my mainly melee team and the resurrect was the key in this game. | |
| Feasting Seaweed - Unfortunately, I don't have this card, so I can only use a starter 1, but it has an advantage, that has only 1 speed. | |
| Sand Worm - I often used it in the past, but I only have level 1 version, so it is not very useful, expect this time :) |
Battle - Replay
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
Yes. Luckily my enemy uses some low-level cards too. The Alvar with Hellondale was a perfect combination, my enemy need 2*10 armor defeat before killing the Legionnaire.

Which cards are good/bad for BROKEN ARROWS ruleset? Why or why not?
- I think there are no especially good cards for this ruleset
- Obviously, monsters with return fire / headwinds are useless in these games
