🛡️⚔️ Let's check on the game ⚔️🛡️
I like to play in the gold/diamond league where my wallet can afford it 🤷🤷🤷
💎 This game is in Diamond League and Modern. 💎
The Ruleset
Taking Sides:
Neutral monsters are prohibited to participate.
Equal Opportunities:
All monsters have the opportunity attribute.
Any stat buffs or debuffs from summoners are being negated
Splinters that can be used: Only Fire, Death and Earth splinters can be used
⚔️🛡Let the Battle Commence⚔️🛡
I chose to play with Death because I have better cards in that splinter.
With 31 mana I m expecting one or two heavy hitters.
Since there was an opportunity game, I needed extra protection, and thus I wanted to use Ravenwood Waiden which gives a +2 shield.
Round 1
As expected, the enemy used a heavy hitter and tried to buff it with Fungus Flinger. I don't get why he used that summoner tho since he used 3 more mana. He also thought of protecting his line with a shield. Lastly, he used fast monsters, trying to score hits first.
Round 2
My Sha-Vi 's attribute basically won the game. Its speed and cripple attribute redirect my attacks on the last monster instead the buffer fungus so Grud didn't get it's buff in time to kill my monsters.
Round 3
Due to Sha-Vi I ended 2nd round by clearing everything except the fungus.. that was basically check mat for the enemy.
Round 4
That was the end.. The enemy had a good strategy but I was a bit more lucky.
🤑Tips to lower the rental cost for battling🤑
We don't need to rent all cards for the brawl, Some tips which will be explained are given below :
- Rent only 2 or 3 types of splinter that suit your gameplay
- Rent gold commons if you want a maximum earning, however, don't overpush it if the gold cards are too expensive.
- Think simply, legendary cards are awesome but as the mana of some monsters increases, there is a smaller chance to be picked for the game. For example, I have stopped renting Raa or Chthulhu due to that fact.
- Rent only what you like to play. If you don't "feel" it with a card then chances are that you are not going to use it too much.
❤️❤️ My MVP card (Lore) ❤️❤️
I picked up my pace and urged Grewa to do the same. We hurried through the trees toward the inn. I could hear her panting behind me. Something howled then, but not like a wolf. Like a man who has gone mad with hunger.
I lost it. I ran. Ran as fast as my legs could carry me. And when I stumbled and fell and got up again, I realized I was alone. No sound of Grewa. No footfalls or heavy breath.
I rose to my feet and walked slowly back the way we'd come. I heard a sound. A wet, tearing sound. And in the middle of trees, not twenty yards away, I saw Grewa. And I saw it.
The beast was gaunt, its skin pulled tight over its bones. It was the ash-gray color of death, with sunken eyes, like a corpse recently risen from the grave, and twisted horns. And the smell. Oh, gods, the smell.
Its lips were tattered and bloody. It was Grewa's blood. It had torn her open and was feasting on her guts. And she... she was still moving. She let out a little whimper.
And I turned and I ran until I saw your light burning in the distance, and I kept running until I burst through the door.”
The man downed the rest of his tankard of ale and stared into the empty mug. The other patrons of the inn shifted in their seats.
“He's making it up,” one said.
“He's drunk,” said another.
The room burst into laughter. Conversations resumed. The man continued staring into his ale.
From somewhere in the dark of night outside rose a mad and hungry howl.
🤔Why this card??🤔
This card was a good pick for the game. It has two amazing attributes. Thorn and regeneration made it a good wall against the enemy today. Windeku's thorns were the best encounter to Grud's double hit. I like using this card in low mana games.
