π²πΉπ Venture with us into the depths of Splinterlands, where the mysterious Venari Marksrats prowl the forests, honing their skills as agile hunters and gatherers for their colonies in the upperdark caverns of the Realm of Silence! ππ¦
These remarkable creatures spend more time in the verdant embrace of the woodlands than they do underground. Their days are dedicated to the pursuit of prey and foraging for sustenance, as they serve as the primary food providers for the Venari colonies nestled within the shadowy recesses of their subterranean realm. Their agility and unparalleled hunting prowess have been refined to perfection. ππ
Their bows, crafted from the simplest of materials β branches and saplings β may appear unrefined at first glance. However, underestimate them at your peril, for these skilled archers possess an uncanny ability to strike their quarry with deadly precision, even a fleet-footed rabbit a hundred yards away. They are equally adept at hunting alone or coordinating in packs, and their keen eyes are ever watchful, spotting intruders long before they themselves are discovered. πΉπ
Now, let's immerse ourselves in a riveting tale that unfolds within the heart of the Venari's forest domain! πΏπ³
Garland, a Venari with a keen eye and a hunter's prowess, sought refuge behind a towering bush at the base of an ancient tree. He deftly pulled his green hooded cowl closer, shrouding his features in shadow, and silently prepared his bow. In this perilous moment, his companion Dale, equally skilled in the ways of the Venari, sensed the need for caution and crawled over to join him. π²π
In hushed tones, Dale inquired, "What do you see?"
Garland, his gaze fixed on the underbrush, responded cautiously, "Not entirely sure, but it might have been a Venari."
Dale's face paled at the mention of a Venari Marksrat. "A Marksrat?"
"I'm not certain. Just a fleeting shadow. But it hasn't spotted me; we should be safe."
Dale's voice trembled with concern. "You underestimate them. If that's a Marksrat, not only has it seen you, but I'd wager it's already drawn its bow and has us in its sights. We must leave, and swiftly." Fear etched his face as he began to crawl away.
Garland, however, was undeterred. He adjusted his position, peering around the tree for a clearer view.
Then, in the blink of an eye, there was a faint twang, and Garland's lifeless body crumpled to the forest floor, an unadorned arrow piercing his head.
Stay tuned, intrepid adventurers, as we explore more tales from the enchanting world of Splinterlands and unravel the mysteries of its captivating inhabitants! πΉππ
π‘οΈβοΈ Let's check on the game βοΈπ‘οΈ
I like to play in the gold/diamond league where my wallet can afford it π€·π€·π€·
π This game is in Gold League and Modern. π
The Ruleset (The game)
Close range
Fire & Regret
Stampede
27 Mana
βοΈπ‘Let the Battle CommenceβοΈπ‘
I chose to play with Death.
I supposed that the enemy will try to play with magic and some melee since the ruleset is not really in favour of playing range.
Round 1
My enemy had a good line. I was a bit off on what the enemy would use. He ended up using 5 melee and a range (?!) monster. I used magic as the base of attacks. My windeku for tank and Ureus at the back. I also used my "martyr" since it will die in the next round due to the ruleset.
Round 2
My "martyr" died faster than I was expecting but this is better tbh. It gave my venary bonesmith the chance to hit with more power.
Round 3
The enemy had focused on the firepower hitting in sneak mode and he didn't think of holding a good tank. This wore him off fast and now he is facing a windeku that can literally do 1vs3..
Round 4
The game is mine.
π€Why the Venari Marksrat??π€
Martyr attribute is really helpful if you play it wisely. The ruleset I had here was the best for using it in my line.
π€Tips to lower the rental cost for battlingπ€
We don't need to rent all cards for the brawl, Some tips which will be explained are given below :
- Rent only 2 or 3 types of splinter that suit your gameplay
- Rent gold commons if you want a maximum earning, however, don't overpush it if the gold cards are too expensive.
- Think simply, legendary cards are awesome but as the mana of some monsters increases, there is a smaller chance to be picked for the game. For example, I have stopped renting Raa or Chthulhu due to that fact.
- Rent only what you like to play. If you don't "feel" it with a card then chances are that you are not going to use it too much.
Stay tuned as we continue our exploration of the most fantastic creatures that grace the realms of Splinterlands! πΊοΈπ And remember, the power of strategy and tactics can turn any legend into an unbeatable champion! ππ
