Oshannus, as a "Taunt" Monster

Note:
A real Taunt monster would actually attract every type of attack, except Scattershot. That being said, in the Target Practice ruleset, a non-melee monster like Djinn Oshannus can still attract two of the three available types of attacks (Magic & Ranged).
Djinn Oshannus lost a good chunk of its value since Alric Stormbringer left the starter deck. The magic spam shift from Water to Earth didn’t help. And, with the rise of new meta, Oshannus was less and less ubiquitous. Almost overnight, players started abandoning the Djinn for other powerful creatures.

Having just pulled this Legendary from a loot chest, I thought it would be interesting to dig into a use case I found still effective, even with the change of circumstances. Djinn Oshannus comes with Void but also with 5 Speed, which makes it sometimes hard to hit.
In the Target Practice ruleset, I noticed that the Djinn could almost act as a “Taunt” Monster by attracting both Magic and Ranged attacks to him. The Void ability makes it resilient against Magic attacks while its Speed helps him avoid a few Ranged hits.

To help Djinn Oshannus sustain as many rounds as possible, Bortus reveals to be a good support summoner with its -1 Magic debuff. Another tactic is to complement the lineup with a monster offering Triage; even better would be a double Triage.
