Hello Splinters Family, Welcome back
This week, we are featuring the Broken Arrows ruleset.
| Broken Arrows | Monsters with ranged attacks cannot be used or Monsters with 2 types of attack (which include ranged) cannot be used. | |
For this ruleset only Mage and Melee attackers, we can use on the battlefield. Below are some defensive abilities that we can use for the ruleset.
| Demoralize | Reduce the damage of melee attacker | |
| Shield | Its reduce the damage of melee when the attacker hit you. | |
| Thorns | When the melee attacker hit you it will give extra damage to attacker. | |
| Magic Reflect | We expect that our opponent will use mage because of the absence of range. It's good to use a monster or summoner with magic reflect abilities to bounce back the attack of the mage attacker | |
| Silence | Reduce the damage of Mage attacker | |
| VOID | It's Reduce the damage of Mage when the attacker hit you. | |
| VOID ARMOR | When the Mage attacker hit you the armor first take damage. Only take effect when the monster has armor. | |
For this week's battle entry, I use my scholar account from Baltazar because I forgot to save the broken arrow ruleset in my own account. The battle I get is from a bronze league brawl in the Baltazar guild.

- 50 Mana Cap
I Used summoner Grandmaster Rathe for this battle because of the ruleset broken arrow and earthquake. Rathe gives +1 shield and void shield to all monsters on the battlefield. I Expect my opponent will use a mage attacker and give me some protection for the 1st hit of the earthquake.
BATTLE LINE-UP
| URIEL THE PURIFIER - I Use Uriel for 1st position because of high life and shiled and the flying abilities of the monster. | |
| CELESTIAL HARPY - the Opportunity ability of celestial is able to attack any position with the lowest life to the opponent | |
| CAPTAIN KATIE - The snipe ability of Katie can attack mage attacker any position except in the 1st postion of the opponent. | |
| SPIRIT HOARDER - To heal the back monster specially to the taunt monster. | |
| ADELADE BRIGHTWING - To repair the shield. | |
| IZIAR - Because of the taunt ability all the attack of the opponent will concentrate to Iziar. |
ROUND 1
- Both of our attacks absorb our taunt monsters. My opponent has an advantage in attack because of the silence ability of the mushroom seer. All my mage monster attackers reduce 1 damage because of the ability. But my taunt monster also has an advantage because of the void ability.
ROUND 2
Before starting round 2 all non-fly monsters take +2 damage because of the earthquake effect.
In this round, the MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN of the opponent was eliminated and Uriel give +9 damage to kron of the opponent.
ROUND 3
Before starting round 3 all non-fly monsters take again +2 damage. Because of the damage, Kron of the opponent was also eliminated before starting round 3.
Before the end of round 3 llama ability the last stand was activated to QUORA TOWERSHEAD.The only monster left in the opponent.
ROUND 4
- The battle ended in this round. The attack of QUORA was not enough to damage Uriel shield.
For me, my strategy was successful in choosing Rathe as a summoner, because the additional +1 shield to all monsters will protect all non-flying monsters for the 1st effect of the earthquake, Also the additional void shield ability to all monsters gives extra protection to all mage attackers.
Placing a monster with playing also helps because of the ruleset earthquake and last including a taunt monster with void ability in the battle lineup was a big help in the battle.
