Hi everyone! I hope you're enjoying playing Splinterlands!
Today I would like to share my battle with silent shavi, death melee, sneak monster. This is also my participation in the Splinterlands challenge: SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! SILENT SHA-VI
Do you like SCAVO FIREBOLT? Why or why not?
I like this card because it has sneak ability and it attacks monsters in the backline. Also, it has great stats of 5 mana, 4 melee attack, and 6 speed when it is in level 10.
Although I don't find cripple that helpful, I like having Piercing ability with sneak because, without Piercing, one whole attack is going to be just removing armor if they have any armor.
Let's look at the match that I wanted to share today.
17 mana, Explosive Weaponry (All monsters have blast ability)

Strategic Thoughts on this battle
- Fire, Death, Dragon are available
- In this ruleset, speed is very important, so I was looking for a summoner with 1 or more speed buff/debuff
Choices that I thought about
- Death sneak team
- Kitty + Lord of Darkness
- Death multiple weaken team
- Pyre, or Plado Emberstorm fire team
I decided to go for sneak team in the end.
My line up and positions
1st: tank, Chaos Agent, very evasive card with only 1 mana but with powerful abilities like dodge, phase, backfire. I use this card a lot in low mana battles.
2nd: 2nd tank, Corpse Fiend, 0 mana card with silence. I put this card as very cheap (mana-wise) second tank.
3rd: 3rd tank, Shadowy Presence. It is only 1 mana but it has strengthen and inspire. It increased my sneak monsters' melee attack by 1. Death sneak is really effective because of this card.
4th: the biggest damage dealer, Silent Sha-vi. Since it is the biggest damage dealer, I put in the middle so that it gets the damage last.
5th: Sneak monster, Skelton Assassin. This is a better version of undead badger but 1 less melee damage than silent sha-vi. So I put it between silent sha-vi and undead badger.
6th: Sneak monster, Undead Badger. It is only 2 mana. It possibly does the least amount of damage out of the 3 sneak monsters. So I put this card last position, which is susceptible to the opponent's sneak attack.
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
The sneak strategy worked pretty well especially with the inspire from shadowy presense, except that my monsters had reduced speed by 3, which is significant in any battle. Because of the speed difference, my 2 sneak attacks missed the naga assassin.
Even though the opponent's silent sha-vi ended up killing my undead badger and skeleton assassin, my silent sha-vi with 5 melee attack were hidden in the middle, so it stayed longer and ended up killing 5 monsters!
Since the battle looked pretty close, I looked at the win rate of the battle in splintertools.io.
It says that I had 95% win rate.
Even with the speed advantage, I still had a good chance of winning.
The opponent had a really good strategy, focusing on speed differentials. However, they ended up spreading the damage, 2 monsters attacking the tank, 1 monster attacking the backline. That's probably why I ended up winning.
