This was quite the season with the sudden changes to the phantom cards. Some of the strategies I was used to went out of the window due to a lack of cards but that also meant trying out new things. Some new Metas have emerged and I am going to slowly start buying up the cards that I need.

I am quite happy with my performance. At first, I was nervous because of the sudden changes and expected it to take a while to get used to the new cards in my deck. But I am thankful that I was able to come up with some good strategies by watching a few games played by other folks. There were still many ups and downs.

The Gold Foil reward from the end-of-season loot chests came as a big surprise as well as one that made me feel better about this whole season. Mainly because of the daily rewards which resulted in either dec (not even anything worthwhile) or potions rather than cards.

Rentals have been quite a hassle at first it was possible to make the rental costs for staying in Silver III due to the win rewards but mid-way through the season the winnings became low. If the rentals remain like they are I am just going to save up my dec after I am done buying packs in the general sale and increase my power by buying up cards instead.

My SPS balance has been slowly increasing thanks to the airdrops and staking rewards. I will be leaving my SPS staked for a while longer before converting it into DEC to buy some cards I might need.
I am quite happy that I was able to quickly catch up with the rankings and stay in Silver III after the sudden changes to the phantom cards. I am going to keep trying out different strategies and get myself some untamed and reward cards from previous expansions whenever I can.
