My commons and rares are already maxed for the league above me so I don't really get too excited about cards anymore, but I did pull a GF epic this season so that's always a plus. The big takeaway here is the whopping 1450 SPS from ranked rewards! Not bad for grinding in Silver!

Rentals weren't too bad. Figuring an average of around 23 DEC per SPS, I probably spent around 100 SPS on rentals this season. That might seem like a lot but I only rent when I have more than 1 use case for them. If I can rent and use them for ranked, brawls, and tourneys all off the same rental, the price doesn't bother me as much.

1677 SPS plus another 11 from tournaments for a total of almost 2800 SPS is outstanding! I'd like to say that next season will be the same, but being I'm posting this right before that season ends, I can already tell you I was slacking off a bit so that won't be the case.
While I appreciate the increased rewards in Modern, grinding in Modern seems a lot more of a chore than it was before the bot ban. I'm not a fan of how long it takes to complete one battle from the time you start matchmaking until the battle is resolved. Before the ban, battling was much faster, whereas now, I spend more time sitting around twiddling my thumbs than I do participating. On top of that, the rating system is absolutely atrocious. I'm still seeing a lot of +3/win vs -35+/loss. It shouldn't take 10+ battles to recover from 1 loss.
