Steem Fantasy Premier League
We've just passed the halfway point of the season and the Steem Fantasy Premier League's prizepool just keeps on growing faster and faster. The current prizepool is a staggering ~2200 STEEM, which is equivalent to ~$13900 at the time of writing this post. If the league ended right now this would mean that the top three players would be taking away the following amount of money

This is crazy! Especially since this will be even more by the end of the season. Anyway, I thought it would be cool to compare this to the prizes the top three players of the official Fantasy Premier League will receive.
Official Fantasy Premier League
Since the prizes for the top three positions in the official Fantasy Premier League aren't monetary it can't be compared that easily. I'm going to estimate the value of these prizes, so I could be wrong, but it should still give a good comparison!

Conclusion
Comparing the two shows that getting 3rd place in the Steem league is already worth more than double than getting 3rd place in the official league! 2nd place is also pretty close, with the official league only being worth $500 more. The biggest difference in value is between the 1st place of both leagues, which is currently $2190. Even though 1st and 2nd place are currently worth more in the official league, this probably won't be the case by the end of the season, which is amazing! We have to consider that placing high in the Steem Fantasy Premier League is much, much easier than placing high in the official league, and the fact that this is the first season of the Steem league! The future looks bright!
