Wow Federer just keeps impressing! Berdych yet again has come second place to the incredible Federer who won his Australian Open quarterfinal againt the Czech 7-6 (7-1) 6-3 6-4.
He is the defending champion from last year and I really now think he has a very good chance of defending his title. That to me would be simply stunning! He is 36 years old and still in my opinion the best on the planet!
The first set could have easily gone to Berdych as he was serving to take the set at 5-3. Federer hung in and took his chance and eventually broke and took the set. He won a tie break in the 2nd set and then went onto win a comfortable 3rd and 4th to win the match.
He now faces the young unseeded Hyeon Chung from South Korea in the semi finals and I can only see him now getting to another Grand Slam final!
