1000 Hills Challenge
It was a tough one, with hill after hill after hill. Just when you think you done you round a bend and you are faced with yet another hill. All in all a great place to breathe in the fresh Zululand air.
As they say no matter how fast or how slow your run is. the main thing is you are out there enjoying our beautiful world. I love the solitude and meditation time running affords me. A place where one can reflect and new ideas are born. Who needs therapy. lol
Nagle Dam is a rural setting that offers spectacular scenery. Runners circumnavigate the entire dam as well as explore parts of the river above the dam. The short course cuts through the middle of the dam using an exciting tunnel and runs around the bottom half of the dam. Runners can expect to see some wildlife like Zebra and Impala in the Msinsi Reserve. A unique perspective of KZN that only those willing to explore on foot will rarely get to see. An adventurous river crossing and steep climbs.

MONTRAIL TRANSALPS - Short Review.
These puppies are by far my favourites, and I have been through tons of trail shoes in my days. They are sturdy and offer unexpected comfort. They have all the right stuff.
- Gusseted Tongue, for those nasty stones
- Rock plate for foot protection
- Sturdy Toe protection for when you inevitably stump your delicate toes.
- Good decent lugs, which get rid of mud quicker than most lug designs I have come across.
So all in all a perfectly well rounded trail shoe worth adding to your collection :-)
Thank you again to KZNTR for an awesome run.
Blessings to all...
