WRC Rally Chile is completely new event in the World Rally Championship starting from this year. Chile motorsport federation even cancelled Dakar Rally which had it's part in their country in the few last seasons because of it.
I follow WRC rallies more then 27 years and never heard anything about Chile event. I only knew it is a gravel event but nothing about the specification of the surface. It can be rough, smooth, muddy, wide roads etc.
From the photos I saw today it is a gravel event with very smooth surface without big stones that destroy the suspension of your rally car.
Roads are smooth but little bit muddy in the mountains, so I would say it is a mix of Wales Rally and Rally Finland.
We will see it in a very short time because all the teams are already in Chile preparing containers for the event.
