Winter Olympic Games in South Korean Pyeongchang may not take place - because of the North Korean problem.

Some countries already declared that they can not send their athletes to Pyeongchang, due to the lack of guarantees of their delegation's safety. France stated that it will boycott the Olympics in the event that the South Korean authorities do not give guarantees of complete security for French athletes, coaches, journalists and everyone else who is going to come to Pyeongchang.
Lore Flessel, France's Minister of Sports, stated that the French team will have to stay home if the South Korean authorities do not provide security guarantees. "If it gets worse, and if we can not be sure of the safety of our athletes, the whole team will stay at home. We do not want to expose the team to danger. Now we are constantly in touch with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We continue to monitor the situation and analyze", the French minister stressed.
