I've been thinking about who could be in the Eastern Conference Finals this year. My conclusion, after some thought, is that even though the Wizards, the Heat, and the Raptors are doing well this year, I think it will be The Celts and The Cavs in the finals unless the seeding ends up making them face prior to that. As far as who will win, I'm not sure. I think the Lebron and company have the potential any year to make it to the finals, so that's a given. As far as my Celts pick, they're just meshing so well, despite being out Hayward (maybe, as a result of honestly, but that will be shown with their record next year).
The Celtics this year honestly remind me a little bit of Golden State prior to Kevin Durant. I say that because they have a starting line up where 4 out of 5 guys can hit the 3 if they need to and that was critical in making Golden State so good. Even Horford can hit the 3 if necessary. Along with that, they have a PHENOMENAL Point Guard in Kyrie Irving. Irving will be critical in the playoffs too, as he has shown multiple times that he can take over a game and that he is about as clutch as they come. He is very comfortable in the last 5 minutes of a game and the playoffs and the championship make him even better; he rises to the occasion.
ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN THE PLAYOFFS THOUGH, SO WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS!? COMMENT BELOW! :)
