The Ryder cup takes place Friday 28th September - Sunday 30th September at the Le Golf National, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines in Paris. It's a funny choice of course for the Europeans that are weathered from the link's courses that the Americans don't like playing.
The Course
The interesting fact is the course was built on a landfill. There are 3 courses at the venue and the Ryder Cup will take place on the Albatross Course which has excellent views for TV Screens and it is known to be wide open which will favour the big hitters.
Not many tree's on this course. Phil will be delighted

Wild Cards
On paper this looks like the best Ryder cup team in years. Both teams are very strong but the Americans have probably the best team on paper in Ryder cup history. Tiger is back. DJ is number 1.Patrick Reed is wearing the green jacket. It will be interesting to see how it goes. Bubba , Dustin Johnston and Jordan Spieth are all prone to meltdowns so you never know. Also the team dynamic might not be that great with lone wolfs like Tiger, Patrick Reed and Bubba on the same team.
The Europeans still could win if Rory hits form. John Rahm is one of the worlds best golfers if he keeps his head. Molinari hasn't hit into a rough in years and Justin Roses is consistent. If Ian Poultier can play like he did in previous Ryder Cups then they have a chance.
I will be glued to it anyway. It should make for great entertainment.
Up the Europeans!!!
