This dang show makes me shed a tear almost every single episode! ESPN does such a good job telling these young peoples story and hardships in life. In a life full of busy days and trying to make money to live, it’s easy to forget just how rich you already are if you have health.
Most of these kids have some sort of terminal illness or have been through enough medical examinations to eclipse 10 lifetimes for most people. After getting one wish to meet any person or visit any place and see it come true is something that just makes a person feel good inside.....well at least it does for me.
All of these kids are incredible fighters and when they get interviewed they all make it seem like it’s no big deal what they have had to endure. The diseases and birth defects they have battled are 10x tougher then any NFL professional linebacker.
To see these pro athletes and organizations go all out 100% to make it a day these kids will never forget makes a fan like me justify paying to go see them. There are good people everywhere, people who care about others that just didn’t have the same opportunity in life. Thank God for all athletes of all sports who are willing to give an entire day to someone else. Shout out to ESPN for this series, please keep em coming.
