No I don't mean the gentleman in the picture, I mean myself. I have been living in Canada since 2012 and I have been unable to understand or follow a hockey game properly in that time. This is almost a crime as hockey is Canada's national winter sport.
So what's the problem? Well I don't just have the same face of confusion as the gentleman in the picture when watching a game, I also have the same thickness of glasses. So when I watch a game live in a stadium, I never see the puck and I can never quite understand what's happening. Even when I'm watching a game on television, the action is so fast that I still can't see the puck! All I see is players skating and swinging as they aim for a shot. Even replays are sometimes are not enough for me to understand what happened. So in the end, the game feels hard to follow and I still don't understand all the rules as a result!
So what should I do? I don't want to buy an expensive TV with a big screen. Should I move to a different country instead?
