Today I am trying new arrows with a different nocking system than usually. This time my red-pink arrow uses the latest nock from Koç Nock made by Emrah Koç from Turkey. These patented red nock is then assembled by Vryarchery Store along with pine shafts with the fine quality wood choices as i want. Usually I also try to make my own arrows, but this time I ordered it from the store for the price of 1 arrow 80,000 Indonesian Rupiah or around USD 5.
Okay, so it was late afternoon, try to shoot with the Koç Nock. After several shots my first impression: I Think I Like It! This unique shape where I don't need to worry about whether my arrow is on the string or not when I nock it on the bow, because the special shape quickly captures the bow string right on the nock. So, in an instant, the arrow can be installed easily without my eyes having to look at my hand, so i can focus on my target board and the most important is: this can save time! Yes, both when do the horseback archery or ground archery often the rules in the competition are that you have to shoot serial shoots with very limited time. So, using fast nocking is very helpful for archers.
At first i was a little annoyed with the edges of the nock which was rather pointed and thin but after getting used to it i actually liked it, because it was the edges that led to the sides that could be used to pull out and hold more tightly without dropping it. So i plan to order some more arrows using Koç Nock as i need to practice the fast shooting. And Koç Nock very helpful. Thanks so much for this invention!
