Something crazy happened today in the English FA Cup clash between Wigan and Manchester City. The Citizens were humbled after a red card saw them finish the first half with 10 players and Wigan's Will Grigg grabbing the all important goal to send Pep's team packing outta the FA cup.
The odds were surely against the home side, but we have now witnessed another offset in the FA cup. The Citizens who started the day with a quadruple goal will now settle for only 3 trophies and Delph's red card means he'll miss the Carabao final against my team ☺ the Gunners and also, he'll miss the BPL clash against us too and reigning champions Chelsea..
Today's result doesn't really please me since my team have already been knocked out of the FA cup, but it sure was fun seeing a rival team lose to a lower division team 😂 (not forgetting something similar happened to my team 😅).
But damn, you gotta give it to Wigan. They have now knocked the Citizens out of their last 3 FA cup meetings with the Citizens 😡.
