Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has been medically cleared to play this Sunday. He will go up against the Carolina Panthers for week 15 after breaking a collarbone that sidelined him for 8 weeks.
Even though Rodgers is medically cleared to play, he won't be at 100%.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, "The bone isn't fully healed—and there was no chance it was going to be after two months. That was the expectation. Typically, 80 percent healed is healthy enough to be on the field. And Rodgers chose a surgical procedure involving two plates and 13 screws as an aggressive way of accelerating healing and protecting his throwing shoulder."
With the Packers having a record of 7-6, there's a lot of hype for Rodgers return and leading the team to be the top team in the NFC.
