This past weekend in their best performance all year the Florida State Seminoles beat the Wake Forest Deamon Deacons soundly in Tallahassee by a score of 38-17. After starting the game in a 10-0 hole midway through the first quarter Tallahassee started to get uneasy.
The Seminoles would score a TD to close out the first quarter and then two more in the second quarter. With a 21-10 halftime lead and receiving the ball in the second half things were looking bright for the Seminoles.
The second half was more of the same as the Seminoles would tack on 17 more points unanswered to take a 38-10 lead. Wake Forest would score a TD in garbage time and that would be the final.
The Seminoles have moved to 4-3 on the year and face the mighty Clemson Tigers this Saturday at noon. The Seminoles are currently 14 point underdogs. I haven’t decided how I’ll bet on this one.
Go noles!
