Almost every person has been a part of some form of sport throughout their lifetime. Sport has this ability to bring about clarity and to remove certain emotional challenges faced. No matter if our teams win or if our teams lose we stay supporters of them. We are proud supporters and nothing can change that.
We have our favorite sport stars that we believe should be chosen for teams. Should they be on their best form, they will help us win our games/races. Should that specific sport person, however, not do well or be mixed up in the wrong things, we often choose to abandon them and think badly of them and every other athlete from the same era or arena.
As many people say, we only remember our sports stars for a few years until a new sports star takes over and often that is a short as the sports persons career. Let us stand together and create some change in the sporting world. Let us be bold and build the development (this is not about culture or race but about giving each sports person the opportunity to play or compete at the highest level they can reach). Let us, each one of us, be instrumental in that change.
