Hi, Steemers!
Loeb did great things for himself and Citroen. But at the same time he destroyed World Rally Championship with his domination. Who wants to see the same champ for the nine times in the row?! Maybe just his hard core fans. But it wasn't just him. Rally managers started to sell rally seats in works teams and it was natural that pure talent would win in front of rich kids whose parents can pay a few millions for a WRC season. I can't say that there were not good drivers in the championship. But if some legend like Colin McRae lost his seat for some guy who's manager paid his season at Subaru works squad, then it's a sign that something is clearly wrong in the system.
Ok, Loeb won WRC for nine times in the row and then in 2015 finished his WRC career (he drives Peugeot 306 maxi with his wife Severine on some rallies in French Championship alongside RallyX career).
But Citroen is not doing good this season. Something is wrong with the car's suspension. They made it for dry tarmac and on gravel and dump/wet tarmac the car is not stable as the competition. So they bring guy who made them champs for so many times and gave them many wins. And he said the same thing: problem is in suspension. They will test again (Loeb and Elena) on gravel later in the season. Let we see if he made something good for his 'ex-squad'.
