Im sure by now you have heard about a couple of millionaires planing to dance around a boxing ring together on August 26th.
Both the mixed martial arts and boxing communities have tried to sell the public on this being the BIGGEST fight in combat sports history.
But lets be real here, this is simply a cash grab.
As a resident of Las Vegas i have had the pleasure to watch some pretty amazing UFC and Boxing events over the years.
I disagree with the hype thats tying desperately to fool us into shelling out lots of $$$ to watch this spectacle.
With 1 week before the fight, both StubHub and SeatGeek report very very slow ticket sales.
Maybe the fight community has finally had enough with the greed of promoters.
Or
Maybe there will be a last minute rush in ticket and Pay Per View sales in the next few days.
Maybe the fight will be greatly entertaining and everyone who was crazy enough to shell out the money to watch it will be rewarded.
Personally, I wont buy it.
I wont watch it.
I wouldnt be able to sleep that night with the haunting laughter of Leonard Ellerbe & Dana White in my ears.
Leonard & Dana are the real winners in this fight.
Not Floyd.
Not Connor.
Not us the fans.
My advice to anyone considering buying this "dance" on Pay Per View: Take that money and take your family or a few friends out for dinner.
Have a conversation about life.
Re-connect.
I guarantee you will feel much better come Sunday morning.
Thanks for your time.
Keep grindin
