Sportfilm review of Undisputed
We almost all like the movies in which Wesley Snipes plays, this time in a boxing movie, quite exciting but unfortunately not as successful as the aftermath of this film.
The plot
A boxer named George "Iceman" Chambers is sent to princion because he participated in a rape, and is sent to a very hard place, he wants to impress all inmates and have a very high status, he participates in fights that are made within the prinsion where bets are made.
The rules of that fight are very relaxed, and this makes it fun for Iceman, until he meets Monroe Hutchens (Snipes) of Sweetwater, the most acclaimed boxer in prison because of his skill and strength, is one of the wrestlers who has been undefeated.
A machiabelico and bloodthirsty boss of the Ripstein mafia (Falk) agrees a fight between these two titans, these fighting scenes are really good, is the central part of the film.
The ending is quite good, according to the story in my opinion, and the set place had to be done inside a part of a prison, but the exteriors were created so it was very perfect to be a prison.
By the time having two black stars wasn't very flashy, but it was really realistic, and the action was pretty good.
It is said that, Wesley snipes, accepted the role long before he was proposed as he wanted to work on a boxing film.
