When I think of the best point guards to ever play in the NBA, a several names comes to mind. The great Magic Johnson, John Stockton, Bob Cousy, Isiah Thomas (Detroit Pistons) to name a few. Jason Kidd can easily be named in that class of upper tier point guards. He was 6'4", athletic, and was a terrific passer. Kidd's was a very good defender as well (2 steals per game). Jason could take over a game on any given night. He wasn't a great shooter early in his career but later on he developed a respectable jump shot. He could get in the paint and cause havoc on the opposing defenses. Kidd was a great example of a player who made his teammates better (8.7 assists per game). Jason was able to help lead the New Jersey Nets to two Finals appearances and finally won a NBA championship with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011. A very durable player as well, Kidd played an astounding 18 years in the NBA. With that said, click the video below to check out some of Jason's career highlights. Be safe and hope you enjoy!
