When i wanted to test my new Nikon D500 Camera i visited the horse racing place in ebelsberg for some photography of the race. It was a very nice day in spring and i decided to do some sportsphotography on the weekend when i heard about the festival. Because the streetfood festival was on the same day and in the same area i also tasted some pretty nice hot dogs and burger.

I always wonder how good the horses can estimate the hight of their jump that nearly works every time. But even in some situations it doesn't work out and they jump to small and hit the barrier. I wonder how much the rider has to take part in this progress to tell the horse when to jump.
