Ajax just want a cool 67.3 Million pounds for him and Juventus want to pay just under 50 Million.Personal terms have been agreed already so this one will happen this week.
I know we are still a week short of two months a way from deadline day, but this is when the cheaper deals happen. Clubs don't like leaving it too late as the bargaining power disappears and things can change. A club may lose a player they had lined up and now they are targeting the same player you have lined up and will try and hijack the deal. This has happened in the past and will happen again.
Agents will try all the tricks in the book as it is their time to earn the big bucks making sure the right deals are done for the players they represent. The fee they receive is normally in the region of 10 percent and why they push for the best deal possible. A player going for 100 Million pounds represents 10 Million for the agent. The job isn't finished there though as sponsorship deals need to be negotiated and this is ongoing and a full time job. Imagine having a stable of 30 players to look after and what work is entailed and this is why the top agents earn so much.

De Ligt's agent looks more like a rock star.
Matthijs de Ligt the 19 year old Ajax Captain looks set to leave and go to Juventus. This wasn't a surprise, but they are haggling over a difference of 17.7 Million Pounds so nothing set in stone just yet. This deal will happen as he is a good buy for the club for the future and I can only see his value going up in years to come. Captaining a side at such a young age and reaching the semi finals of the champions league plus winning the Dutch league is a great achievement already for him on his CV. His deal for him is just 230 000 Pounds per week and the agent gets 23 000 Pounds for that signing alone per week.
The bigger names will start to heat up in the last week and Manchester United look as though they will offload Pogba at some point. Apparently he was too disruptive in the team and even though he is away with them on preseason training I can see him going to Barcelona in a headline move to help boost his huge ego.
It is going to be interesting to see who the biggest signing is this year and by which club. It has to be one of the money clubs. Harry Maguire is tipped to go to Manchester City but Leicester want 80 Million for him. Leicester just spent 40 million on Tielemans so maybe Leicester will balance their books by selling Maguire at a slightly less rate. Who knows it is too early and only the smaller deals are happening at the moment that being 40 Million as small nowadays.
