Ashley Cole announced his retirement on Sunday, ending his long adventure with the round witch that lasted almost 20 years.
Cole is one of the most capped players in the domestic league with the clubs he has represented in England, and is the most defensive player in international matches for his country.
"After a serious study, it's time to suspend my shoes and start another chapter in my career, which I hope will be in training," the 38-year-old told Sky Sports on Sunday.
Asked about his professional career, which began with Arsenal when he participated in the London club's meeting with Middlesbrough in the League Cup in November 1999, Cole said it was a wonderful and amazing journey.
