Mathijs De Ligt to Juventus is done!!! The contracts has been signed by the directors of both Ajax and Juventus and only the medical visits and signatures of the player are missing.
The delay in the announcement is because Juventus doesn't announce that they've signed a player through a statement, instead when the player arrives for a medical, they officially announce it at that time. Only when they signed Ronaldo, Juventus made an official announcement because it was the greatest transfer in footballing history for the club.
It is a done deal! No more progress is possible, De Ligt will have his medical on Monday and he will go on the Asian tour with the rest of the squad.
Ajax have also confirmed this by not including De ligt on the list of players who will be travelling with the team for the pre-season fixtures.
